Interview conducted by Margaret Cawood at the Confederate Air Force Oral History center on 8 October 1988. Wetter talks about his training asa gunner in the United States Air Corps, his assignment to the 500th Bomb Group, and his experiences on "POW missions" which dropped packaged supplies to U.S. prisoners of war in the South Pacific Theater.

Wetter (b. January 20, 1925) enlisted in the Air Force at age eighteen and served as a CFC gunner on a B-29 in the Pacific. After the war, he settled in Milwaukee, Wis.
